Double-Wide Prefabricated Garages are built large enough to accommodate multiple vehicles. This style of garage is built and delivered in two pieces that are joined together on-site to create the finished building. Besides vehicle storage, this design of prefab garage is perfect for use as a woodworking shop, mechanical, or other workshops.

With sizes from 24×24 to 28×40*, the Double-Wide Prefab Garage offers almost endless options for the needs of any property. Your choice of siding – pressure treated 5/8″ wood siding, LP SmartSide, or metal with a 40-year warranty

Floor joists placed at 12″ on-center
Heavy-duty flooring to support your belongings – 3/4″ comes standard on all prefabricated garages
2 – 9’x7′ garage doors
Diamond aluminum tread plate at the door to protect the floor and keep out water

Prefab Garage Interior Options

All the double-wide prefab garages we build are designed to handle decades of heavy use. The heavy-duty floor features joists spaced at 12″ on-center, covered with 3/4″ plywood for extra strength. To prevent any deterioration caused by moisture in the ground, we only use pressure-treated wood for the skids and joists under our prefabricated garages. A locking door latch is another great feature for the extra security of your prefab garage.

Prefab Garage Exterior Options

The Prefab Garage exteriors are covered with either metal, LP SmartSide, or pressure-treated wood siding, which have 40-year or more limited lifetime warranties. Standard Features

Exposed nails are galvanized to prevent rust spots or weather stains.
The doors are reinforced with 2x4s for increased strength and include a keyed latch for your protection.
Buildings have 40 yr. metal roofing or limited lifetime architectural shingles and aluminum drip edge
All exposed lumber is pressure treated to prevent termite damage and rotting. This includes our large 4x6 runners, floor joists, plywood floor, trim, and T1-11 siding.
A series of air vents are positioned to create optimal air circulation and temperature control.
Building sizes are measured from outside wall to outside wall - not eave to eave as some competitors.
Buildings are sprayed with wood sealer to help retain their new look longer.
Buildings are built with black hardware including decorative, heavy-duty hinges.

If your delivery location is within 25 miles of an authorized Gold Star Buildings dealer, you'll receive FREE shipping! For locations over 25 miles, a $3 per mile charge will be added.

Site Preparation

A prepared, level site is highly recommended for all buildings. It will keep a building in better condition long-term. Be sure to build a shed base that is 1 foot wider and longer than the building.

You can begin by requesting a Free Estimate online or by calling 724-253-2771. When you are ready to order, simply call us to finalize the order or visit a dealer location. We will ask for a deposit of 10% or, if rent-to-own, the first month's rent.
