The Barn style shed is a mini barn built with a classic, barn-style roof and the lowest cost per square foot of any of our storage buildings. In spite of the lower price tag, this mini barn is built with the same quality materials as our other backyard sheds, including our portable garages and portable cabins. Economical doesn’t have to mean low-quality!

Mini Barn Standard Features:

Pressure-treated skids and joists to resist moisture and rot from the ground
Your choice of siding – pressure treated 5/8″ wood siding, LP SmartSide, or metal with a 40-year warranty.
Your choice of roofing – shingles or metal
Heavy-duty flooring to support your belongings – 5/8″ comes standard on all mini barns, 3/4″ is available
Heavy-duty doors – a 4′ door on 8′ wide mini barns; a 6′ double door on mini barns 10′ or 12′ wide
A locking door latch for extra security
Sidewalls are 3′ 11″ high

Mini Barn Interior Options

The Barn is an easily customizable building. It includes all the benefits of a standard Lofted Barn or portable outdoor buildings. Besides, customers can customize their mini Barn by adding ¾” heavy-duty flooring to support their belongings, or a locking door latch for extra security. The flexibility of this yard barn design also makes the mini Barn ideal for use as a workshop or any other purpose.

Mini Barn Exterior Options

The mini Barn (and all our other backyard buildings) offer a wide amount of customization to fit your specific needs. With each mini barn, the customer has the option to choose size, siding material and color, roof material and color, door size and color, and more. The main door on the mini Barn is placed at the end of the building. If you would like to have the doors positioned on the side of your mini Barn, reach out to the Gold Star Buildings team.

Rent-To-Own Mini Barn

With our Rent-To-Own plan, customers can get the yard barns they need with a low monthly rent payment, and a credit check is not required. It makes the purchase easier for customers who need a storage space soon and flexibility on paying the amount. The Rent-To-Own plan allows you to rent a shed, garage, mini barn, and cabins. Standard Features

Exposed nails are galvanized to prevent rust spots or weather stains.
The doors are reinforced with 2x4s for increased strength and include a keyed latch for your protection.
Buildings have 40 yr. metal roofing or limited lifetime architectural shingles and aluminum drip edge
All exposed lumber is pressure treated to prevent termite damage and rotting. This includes our large 4x6 runners, floor joists, plywood floor, trim, and T1-11 siding.
A series of air vents are positioned to create optimal air circulation and temperature control.
Building sizes are measured from outside wall to outside wall - not eave to eave as some competitors.
Buildings are sprayed with wood sealer to help retain their new look longer.
Buildings are built with black hardware including decorative, heavy-duty hinges.
