The Cottage Shed is a favorite among our metal and wood sheds. It’s similar to our Garden Shed design, but it has a salt-box or “offset style” roof, giving it a wider eve in the front than on the back. This makes for a very attractive building, whether you’re looking for a small shed or something bigger. Speaking of bigger, this shed is available in standard sizes from 8×12 up to 12×32!

The Cottage shed is perfect for your pool house, she-shed, man-cave, workshop, or even office space. This Shed is an easily customizable portable building. You can add ¾ heavy-duty flooring to support your belongings, heavy-duty doors, or a locking door latch for extra security.
Exterior Options
The Cottage Shed comes standard with two windows. As in all of our metal or wood sheds, the exact placement of the windows and doors is up to you. You can even add additional windows or doors if you need more than the standard amount! Also, you can choose customized features like roof color, siding, and painting to match your requirements. Standard Features
Exposed nails are galvanized to prevent rust spots or weather stains.
The doors are reinforced with 2x4s for increased strength and include a keyed latch for your protection.
Buildings have 40 yr. metal roofing or limited lifetime architectural shingles and aluminum drip edge
All exposed lumber is pressure treated to prevent termite damage and rotting. This includes our large 4x6 runners, floor joists, plywood floor, trim, and T1-11 siding.
A series of air vents are positioned to create optimal air circulation and temperature control.
Building sizes are measured from outside wall to outside wall - not eave to eave as some competitors.
Buildings are sprayed with wood sealer to help retain their new look longer.
Buildings are built with black hardware including decorative, heavy-duty hinges.

If your delivery location is within 25 miles of an authorized Gold Star Buildings dealer, you'll receive FREE shipping! For locations over 25 miles, a $3 per mile charge will be added.
Site Preparation
A prepared, level site is highly recommended for all buildings. It will keep a building in better condition long-term. Be sure to build a shed base that is 1 foot wider and longer than the building.
How to Place an Order
You can begin by requesting a Free Estimate online or by calling 724-253-2771. When you are ready to order, simply call us to finalize the order or visit a dealer location. We will ask for a deposit of 10% or, if rent-to-own, the first month's rent.
