The Lofted Garden Shed is a portable garden shed built to the same specs as a Lofted Barn, but with the door on a sidewall. When it comes to portable sheds, we think the Lofted Garden Shed is one of our most attractive options. Most people store their garden tools, canoes, kayaks, Christmas decors, seasonal items, fishing rods with the fishing tackle boxes, and lawn trimmers in the lofted area. Moreover, it can be used for a multitude of purposes. The portable shed can be a place to store toys for kids.

Thanks to its extra vertical space, this portable shed offers more cubic feet of storage than almost any other building we make with the same dimensions. For maximum flexibility, we build the Lofted Garden Shed in standard sizes ranging from 8×8 up to 12×32, although we’ve built structures as large as 14×40! Heavy-duty flooring to support your belongings – 5/8″ comes standard on all Lofted Garden Sheds, 3/4″ is available
Heavy-duty doors – a 4′ door on 8′ wide portable garden sheds; a 6′ double door on 10′ or 12′ wide sheds
A locking door latch for extra security
A functional outside loft door is available upon request on these portable sheds
Sidewalls are 6’ 3” high

Lofted Garden Shed Interior Options

The Lofted Garden Shed’s interior and overhead storage space make this portable shed ideal for a tiny house, man cave, or outdoor storage space. The interior access for the lofted area is placed in the center of this Lofted Garden Shed, but it can be customized by the customer’s request. Also, the locking door latch and heavy-duty flooring are available to upgrade the lofted garden shed.

Lofted Garden Shed Exterior Options

Since the Lofted Garden Shed comes standard with one window and can easily have a second one added, it makes an attractive choice for a workshop or any other use that requires plenty of light in the building. The main doors on the Lofted Garden Shed are placed on the side and the optional exterior loft door is placed on the end. With each portable shed, the customers can choose customized features like siding, roofing, painting, windows, and doors to meet their requirements.

Exposed nails are galvanized to prevent rust spots or weather stains.
The doors are reinforced with 2x4s for increased strength and include a keyed latch for your protection.
Buildings have 40 yr. metal roofing or limited lifetime architectural shingles and aluminum drip edge
All exposed lumber is pressure treated to prevent termite damage and rotting. This includes our large 4x6 runners, floor joists, plywood floor, trim, and T1-11 siding.
A series of air vents are positioned to create optimal air circulation and temperature control.
Building sizes are measured from outside wall to outside wall - not eave to eave as some competitors.
Buildings are sprayed with wood sealer to help retain their new look longer.
Buildings are built with black hardware including decorative, heavy-duty hinges.
