Every Utility Shed constructed by Gold Star Buildings has a pressure-treated wood base, to resist rot and decay from ground moisture.

The interior of a Utility Shed makes this prefab shed ideal for a workshop or outdoor storage space to keep home and garden tools, and equipment such as lawn tractors and gardening supplies. In addition, a utility shed can be used to store items that are not suitable to store in your house. It includes all the benefits of standard shed buildings. Also, customers can customize their utility sheds by adding a ¾” heavy-duty floor, a heavy-duty door, and a locking door latch for extra security and others.
Utility Shed Exterior Options
The exterior of a Utility Shed is constructed using either metal siding, LP SmartSide, or heavy-duty 5/8″ treated wood paneling. This creates a shed that’s able to withstand even the harshest weather conditions. This Prefab Shed is designed with double doors on the end for easy access. Rent-To-Own Utility Shed
In reality, purchasing a Utility Shed saves you money as opposed to renting a storage space to store your belongings. Sometimes, it can be challenging to pay the full amount upfront. For that reason, we offer a Rent-To-Own plan that allows you to rent a Utility Shed when you need it while investing toward ownership of the prefab shed. Exposed nails are galvanized to prevent rust spots or weather stains.
The doors are reinforced with 2x4s for increased strength and include a keyed latch for your protection.
Buildings have 40 yr. metal roofing or limited lifetime architectural shingles and aluminum drip edge
All exposed lumber is pressure treated to prevent termite damage and rotting. This includes our large 4x6 runners, floor joists, plywood floor, trim, and T1-11 siding.
A series of air vents are positioned to create optimal air circulation and temperature control.
Building sizes are measured from outside wall to outside wall - not eave to eave as some competitors.
Buildings are sprayed with wood sealer to help retain their new look longer.
Buildings are built with black hardware including decorative, heavy-duty hinges.

If your delivery location is within 25 miles of an authorized Gold Star Buildings dealer, you'll receive FREE shipping! For locations over 25 miles, a $3 per mile charge will be added.
Site Preparation
A prepared, level site is highly recommended for all buildings. It will keep a building in better condition long-term. Be sure to build a shed base that is 1 foot wider and longer than the building.
How to Place an Order
You can begin by requesting a Free Estimate online or by calling 724-253-2771. When you are ready to order, simply call us to finalize the order or visit a dealer location. We will ask for a deposit of 10% or, if rent-to-own, the first month's rent.
